The performer takes out a box of matches from his pocket and places it on his left hand open palm. As he makes some magical gestures, the match box becomes alive. It turns itself, so that the right side is up and then eerily the drawer opens. When the drawer is almost completely out, one stick jumps up and stands erect on top of the cover. The performer picks up the stick and uses it to light a candle.
