EFFECT: The performer displays a small steel vase to be absolutely empty. It has a wide open mouth and the whole of the interior can be shown. It looks plain and simple in all respects. He pours some water in the vase and covers with a stiff paper. Holding the paper down at the top, he inverts the whole set-up. Then he dramatically removes his hand from the paper. Nobody is impressed to see that neither the paper nor water falls down as everybody knows that it is a common scientific phenomenon. The paper remains put due to air pressure. The children become restless to tell you that they know how it is done. But now the real surprise comes. He removes the paper but still the water remains in the vase as if by some real magic. He then puts back the paper and straightens up the vase. Removing the paper, he pours out the water into a jug proving that the water was always in the vase.
